The content will be presented in 30-minutes by a CPR trainer and AHA-approved instructor. The education provided will help those supporting older adults to better understand “in general” the nature of what good basic first aid should be along with some basics of CPR and how it could potentially be applied in situations such as cardiac arrest, seizures, strokes, overdose and diabetic emergencies. The participant will be able to learn new skills when an individual is unresponsive from an unknown origin until medical authorities arrive on scene.
