Kathy Lowe, MSW, ACSW

Kathy is a retired Clinical Social Worker who has worked in mental health and long term care. She has been an instructor at the UNC-CH School of Social Work and retired from the Wake Forest School of Medicine where she worked in the Program of Community Engagement. She currently serves on the Governor’s Advisory Council on Aging which makes recommendations to the Governor and Secretary of Health and Human Services related to improving services for older adults in our state. Kathy also serves on the Board of Directors of The Shepherd’s Center of Greater Winston-Salem.

She will share current issues being discussed at the state level and hear from you about concerns you would like to see addressed. Your voice matters!
