Mental Health and Older Adults
Speaker: Andy Hagler, Executive Director
Mental Health Association in Forsyth County
In his long-time role as Executive Director of our local Mental Health Association, Andy is in a unique position to know and understand the mental health needs and challenges of our community. He will give particular attention to mental health as it relates to those who are aging. For many older adults, there continues to be stigma around seeking support for mental health concerns. Andy will share his knowledge and expertise so those of us who work with older adults will be better equipped to offer advocacy, support, and information.
