Mad Hatters Group October Meeting
October 20, 2020 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm
Hello everyone!
Join us for our next Mad Hatters virtual luncheon. Let’s have some fun! This group is open to any professional who is serving the needs of the geriatric population in the Triad area. We would like to provide a safe place for us to talk about how this pandemic is impacting the services we provide, our emotional health and as well as how we have adapted our services within the guidelines of the state mandate. We will be doing a repeat of the Mad Hatters event that I missed while on vacation a couple of months ago.
We plan to hold these meetings monthly on the third Tuesday from 12:30-1:30 during this pandemic. Our next meeting will be held on October 20th.
David Haynes inspired our next theme. I was in awe of his beautiful painting of the mountains during a previous virtual luncheon. What talents do you have that you enjoy exploring during your off time? Do you paint, sing, play the piano, make cards, quilt or have some other hobby or hidden talent that one might not normally see in a professional setting?
Be prepared to show us a bit of your work and tell us how it makes you feel! For those of you who feel like you have nothing to share, you are still welcome to join. Maybe it will spark ideas that will help you find your “gift”. We all have something to share because we are all uniquely made!
We invite you all to wear your favorite or your most funky hats to each meeting (hence the name, “Mad Hatters”). If you forget your hat or don’t want to wear one, you are still invited to join in on the discussion.
If you did not receive the invite that Melissa sent this month, please contact us at:
