Holiday Gift Bag Project 2022

November 16, 2022 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

WISH LIST FOR SATURDAY NIGHT FELLOWSHIP GIFT BAGS

The Shepherd’s Center of Greater Winston-Salem, in collaboration with Highland Presbyterian Church, is launching our annual donation drive for Holiday Gift Bags for participants in our Saturday Night Fellowship Program. With the help of more than a dozen faith communities, this program serves older adults who live in subsidized housing communities in and around the downtown area. For the first time since 2020, we are gearing up for a holiday meal and celebration at Highland Presbyterian Church on December 3!

As in the past, we are inviting groups in the community to participate in this ministry by collecting items for this year’s gift bags. We need items to fill 125 gift bags.

Highland Presbyterian Church will host two drive-thru gift drop-off opportunities: Wednesday, November 16, 4:00-6:00 pm and Sunday, November 20, 1:00 pm-3:00 pm. The drop-off location is the Highland Activity Building, 2381 Cloverdale Avenue, Winston-Salem.

We welcome gifts from individuals, congregations, youth or missions groups, businesses, or community organizations. Monetary gifts are also appreciated to assist with purchasing items.

For your convenience, you may sign up for items you wish to donate by clicking here for a link to Sign Up Genius. If you need assistance or more information, please contact Linda Lewis at 336-748-0217, or llewis@shepherdscenter.org.
