Forsyth County Community Paramedic Program: Improving Accessibility to Healthcare
Paramedic Laura Smith and other members of the Forsyth County Community Paramedic Team will provide information about this innovative program which was started in 2016 and is designed to address the needs of some of our most vulnerable citizens who are frequent users of the 911 system and the emergency room. The goal is to identify and address specific needs and effectively match people with appropriate community resources. Face to face visits by team members help to create meaningful connections, build trust, and personalize care. Join us for this opportunity to meet team members and learn about this important resource.
