Have you ever wondered how a company develops a job description? What is the process? How can a company know that it’s accurate? This process is known as “job profiling,” and this month Lisa Hawk will explain how it works.

Lisa Hawk is the Director of Customized Training at Forsyth Tech and one of only three ACT Authorized Job Profilers in NC. She has extensive experience working with local, regional, and national collaborative efforts to drive the workforce needs of both existing and emerging businesses and industries. She has conducted hundreds of job profiles across the country with a focus on Advanced Manufacturing, Healthcare, Distribution, and Logistics. Lisa has a background in Process Improvement and Lean Six Sigma and has been an ACT Authorized Job Profiler since 2005. She holds a BS Degree in Human Services and a master’s degree in public administration.
