Thanks to David haynes for moderating the HIPSS networking event last week!  He submitted the following notes from member feedback:

If you have a “name badge” and/or car magnet – always have it on or in place.  People always notice a badge.
Sales is all about “relationships”.
Simply showing up to an event is an accomplishment.
Don’t give up.
Understand your behavior around others.
Always try and network in a group function.
Seek out someone you don’t know and sit by them or simply introduce yourself to them.
Block off a “Power Hour” just for yourself to make calls.
Enjoy what you do!!!
Attend lunch n learns when available.
Make your day a “Make a New Friend Day”.
Spread the effort around to those you trust and want to be aligned with.
Always make yourself available.
Keep it on a “Personal level”.
Word of mouth is usually your most trusted and best form of marketing.
If you say you are going to do something, then do it!!!
